Nabil Zahra: How Elekta’s data-driven Service model Boosted High Uptime for Linear Accelerators

He explains how Elekta’s service and support model uses IntelliMax help to prevent and resolve technical problems on the linac quickly and often remotely. He gives an example of how IntelliMax alerts Elekta’s field service engineers (FSEs) when the gun value is not at its maximum on some of the gantry angles, and how they can adjust it remotely or schedule an intervention with the customer. He also describes how Elekta’s service team communicate with the physics team and the onsite FSEs of the customers through IntelliMax to ensure the quality assurance and the continuity of the patient treatments.
